We have been running our infamous Short Film Open Mic since 2009. But we're not calling it an "Open Mic" anymore. Why? Because we offer so much more than just a microphone.
Open Mics are a great place for emerging musicians and comedians to get their feet wet. Our "Open Screen" is the same concept... but for filmmakers.
Register to screen your short film (10 minutes or less) in front of an audience of fifty to a hundred. Get feedback. Invite friends. Connect with peers, collaborators, and those higher up in the film industry.
All genres accepted. No curation. Non-competitive. First to sign up is the first to screen.
This event runs monthly at the Strongroom in Shoreditch.

REGISTER TO SCREEN YOUR SHORT FILM
RULES
Filmmakers must register in advance.
One film per filmmaker per event.
All genres accepted.
A representative from your film must be present at the screening to introduce your film.
All film under 10 minutes are automatically accepted on a first-come/first screen basis.
Films with longer running times (10-15 minutes) are occasionally considered.
Your place at the screening event is not guaranteed until you have sent us a copy of the film, and we have acknowledged receipt of it.
It may be that we like your film, but cannot fit it into the schedule. If this is the case, we may offer to screen your film at the next screening.
We may reject your film if it is not in a recognisable file format. Ideally, we would like an .mp4 or .mov.
Kino Short Film reserves the right to make the final decision on whether or not to screen any particular film.
